We would like to add a motivated and talented Junior Software Developer with a diverse and solid background in to our team in Hampton, Virginia in support of our TEAMS2 contract at NASA Langley Research Center.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and talented junior software developer to join our team to support several different programming activities here at NASA Langley Research Center. Work will be conducted on the development of new software systems as well the updating and maintenance of legacy systems in the field of aerospace engineering. This will include but not limited to the development of simulation systems to support testing new algorithms and techniques for on board decision processing within unmanned aircraft systems and development of new systems to analyze both aircraft and spacecraft performance. The candidate must work well in a team environment supporting varying research goals.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with software focus
  • 2-5 years experience developing and maintaining software systems
  • Experience and knowledge of a variety of software languages, specifically C++, C, and Python.
  • Experience with C# and Java a plus
  • Experience working with Matlab a plus
  • Experience developing software within both Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Strong communications and writing skills
