We would like to add a Summer Intern in the area of Modeling and Simulation and Software Development to our Team. The work will support TEAMS2 projects at NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and talented software student to contribute to the modeling and simulation of an in-flight assembly system supporting our NASA engineering team in the Autonomy Incubator. This role requires experience with various high level programming languages such as C++ and python, and simulation environments such as Gazebosim. The ideal candidate would work well in a team environment and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Software development experience in C++ and Python on a Linux platform.
  • Experience with Gazebosim on Linux platform.
  • Basic understanding of full life cycle development using formal processes.
  • Experience with software version control methodologies such as GIT/SVN etc.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • OpenSceneGraph and QT or OpenGL development experience is a plus.
