Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and talented individual to develop public websites for our commercial clients. This role requires past experience in all aspects of site development and a proven track record of maintaining positive client relationships. Our client’s needs range from small marketing sites to larger e-commerce applications. The successful applicant will be able to gather the requirements from the client, select the appropriate implementation technology, develop the code and graphical assets, perform testing, deliver on time and follow up with each client to ensure their continued satisfaction.
- Exceptional problem-solving expertise and attention to detail.
- Proven track record developing high quality, innovative web sites.
- A BS degree or higher preferred, strong experience required.
- Demonstrate development skills across a range of technologies, including:
- Web 2.0 frameworks, Flash, AJAX, Web Services
- Web architecture, web design, and web development
- ASP.NET, CSS, HTML/XHTML, and JavaScript
- Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
- Experience using content management system (CMS) APIs.
- Ability to develop functional prototypes to illustrate concepts and contribute to rapid iterative product development.
- Ability to collaborate with product managers, marketing teams, designers, backend engineers, and researchers to refine the user experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
